Microsoft Windows 8 File Management Features Revealed - Microsoft Windows 8 File Management Features Revealed
Thu, September 15 2011 | 12:01PM | PermaLink Feedback?
Today Microsoft shows us the new file management features in Windows 8 and quite frankly, some features that Windows 7 should have had. The first feature which they show off is the ability to make two file transfers (copy and paste / drag-and-drop) to a folder with pictures. Of course this is something we've been able to do for a very long time in Windows but what we haven't been able to do is pause a transfer mid-stream. Another excellent feature in the Windows 8 file management UI window is the ability to see more detailed information about transfers which includes live performance graphs of the transfer speeds. "
