Thermaltake Frio OCK CPU Cooler Review - Thermaltake Frio OCK CPU Cooler Review
Wed, September 07 2011 | 3:13PM | PermaLink Feedback?
"A new challenger for the crown in CPU cooling is the Thermaltake Frio OCK, with the “OCK” standing for “Over Clock King”. The Thermaltake Frio OCK certainly has the makeup of a cooler ready to handle extreme overclocking. The Frio OCK has dual ice blue translucent 130mm fans in a push/pull configuration encased in a black shroud with blue and TT’s classic red trim. The Frio OCK’s shroud is not only there for eye appeal, it also helps to keep air directed through the aluminum fin array and over the six 6mm heatpipes. The fin array is arranged in a twin tower formation with all sides sealed to keep the 121cfm the twin fans produce going in the right direction. The heatpipes run through a copper/aluminum base which is polished to a mirror finish and up the fin array in a straight line. To keep your cooling/noise ratio to your liking, the Frio OCK is equipped with dial style fan control which can vary fan speeds from 1200-2100rpm. Thermaltake gave the Frio OCK very flexible and efficient mounting, making it compatible with Intel LGA775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD AM2/2+/3/3+."
