Since computers are the norm everywhere, there is a need for a device that would "assist" people that are on the go and thus creating a new form of quasi-computers, named PDAs or personal digital computers. Apparently, there are two types of PDAs, which are differentiated by the type of software that are used. The operating system (OS) that is most common in handheld PDAs is the Windows CE, compact version of the Windows 95/98 found in most PCs. However, when it comes to palm sized handheld PDAs, the Palm OS has been claimed by many as a "better fit" than the Windows CE OS. Well, in many cases, it boils down to personal preferences.
