The folks over at BetaNews are announcing that Microsoft has merged development of two new OS's, Neptune a consumer versions of Windows NT, and Odyssey, next in line for Win2K. The new OS has been dubbed 'Whistler.' Neptune was scheduled for release Q3 Y2K+1, but no one is certain Wistler will follow suit with that time line.
