BX takes a serious look at the FreeSpeed Pro by NinjaMicro, here's a clip: "When AMD first released the Athlon, the only way to change an Athlon's multiplier and voltage settings was to de-solder and re-solder resistors on the Athlon's PCB. This was something that only the most experienced people could do. A few companies offered their services (for a price) in modifying one's Athlon so they could indeed overclock it, without the pressure of not making a $300 investment a paperweight. There are a few companies that are now selling their own versions of Athlon overclockers, with NinjaMicro being one such company. NinjaMicro's Athlon overclocker is called the FreeSpeed Pro, and Dan "Fluke" Bailey, NinjaMicro's owner, sent me a test unit for evaluation. "
