"The basic premise of the game is that players enter a World in which the High King - a very Arthurian figure - has basically been betrayed by one of his most trusted companions and, true to a very "the Land and the King are One" style of storytelling - dies at the base of a tree on the eve of his final battle. As a result, the World itself is ripped asunder and the Gods themselves are pulled down from the heavens. The gates to heaven close, the skies turn black, and the World is plunged into darkness."
