SysMark2002 is more of an extension of SysMark2001 rather then a whole new benchmark. The applications used during testing have been updated and most importantly for AMD users, the new SysMark2002 uses the Windows Media Encoder 7.1 which supports the AthlonXP's SSE instructions.

BapCo SysMark 2002 Benchmark Results
Internet Content (FSB/Memory) Sysmarks Ranking
1. 8RDA+ - 166/333 325
2. KX400-8XV Pro - 166/333 319
3. AU13 - 166/333 333
4. AU13 - 173/346 340

Office Productivity (FSB/Memory)

1. 8RDA+ - 166/333 198
2. KX400-8XV Pro - 166/333 185
3. AU13 - 166/333 193
4. AU13 - 173/346 199

Stock performance of the AU13 is around the same as the 8RDA+. Both nForce2 motherboards are faster then the KT400 based Albatron KX400-8XV Pro.

Content Creation Winstone 2002 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit, content creation applications on Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Windows XP.

Business Winstone 2002 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running today's top-selling Windows-based 32-bit applications on Windows 98, Windows 2000 (SP6 or later), Windows Me, or Windows XP. Business Winstone doesn't mimic what these packages do; it runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete those activities to produce its performance scores.

Winstone 2002 Benchmark Results
Content Content (FSB/Memory) Score Ranking
1. 8RDA+ - 166/333 33.2
2. KX400-8XV Pro - 166/333 32.6
3. AU13 - 166/333 31.9
4. AU13 - 173/346 32.6

Business Winstone (FSB/Memory)

1. 8RDA+ - 166/333 47.1
2. KX400-8XV Pro - 166/333 45.1
3. AU13 - 166/333 46.9
4. AU13 - 173/346 47.7

The AU13 does not do quite as well here in the Winstone 2002 benchmarks although the results would be too small for anyone to notice.
