AquaMark3 is a powerful tool to determine
reliable information about the gaming performance of a computer system. Because
the benchmark extensively utilizes DirectX9, DirectX8 and DirectX7
functionality, it represents the requirements of typical gaming applications in
2003 and 2004.

It's interesting to see that the Gigabyte i875P motherboard is heads and shoulders above
that of the Albatron PX865PE Lite Pro in the processor portion of AquaMark3,
however the overall score is about the same.
Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards.

Quake III
Arena loves bandwidth, and here the Albatron PX865PE Lite Pro is clearly several
frames slower
than the i865PE/i875P boards. Framerates are still very high, so gaming is highly
unlikely to be affected - but it's not Earth shattering compared to the others here.
