CodeCretures requires a fully compatible DirectX 8 videocard with preferably 128 MB of RAM to store textures. Codecreatures utilizes vertex as well as pixel shaders to run their tests.

At the higher resolutions things remain about the same. It seems the GeForceFX 5600 Ultra performs about the same as the new Radeon A9600XT.
