Our Overclocking Results

Starting off with an FSB of 112.5 (700@787Mhz) we stepped it up incrementally all the way to 700@840 before windows died and the system reset back to the default of 700Mhz. As it turns out the system was only marginally stable at 840Mhz, and when we tried to load Sandra it just froze. So, we replaced the aluminum Global Win heatsink with the Frosty CopperPins and gave it another go - just in case cooling was the problem.

A round of benchmarks at 840Mhz progressed well, so we upped the anti to 875Mhz and gave it another shot.... and there it died. Nothing we were able to do would get the CopperMine stable above 840Mhz on this board. The fact that we were able to get it stable by using our CopperPins Heatsink at least shows that some moderate overclocking is possible with this motherboard. Let's take a look at what Sandra shot back.

CPU Bench Mark 700@840Mhz

Multimedia Benchmark 700@840Mhz

Memory Benchmark 700@840Mhz
