Where's the remote?
to form, the SyncMaster 150MP comes equipped with an Infrared remote. The remote has a small and overly stiff cursor pad that links directly into the OSD menu capabilities. It runs on two AAA's which are included. The only bad thing we can say about the 150MP revolves around the
rather shallow range the remote has if you are less than three
feet from the display.
setting on a flat panel LCD display are always slightly different than that of their
CRT relatives. With an LCD display, it is always best to operate it
at the maximum resolution - in this case at a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. With
the computer set at this resolution there is no dithering effect on the
image because each dot in the TFT panel accurately corresponds to the

that Samsung use with the 150MP (and 170MP) is simply the best we have every seen on a display.
I know it's hard to take much interest in these little menus,
but after looking at a billion blue-screen horrors it was quite surprising to see an
OSD as nice as this.
