45 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Videocard Reviews

The internet is flooded with GeForce GTX 560 Ti videocard reviews this morning. Here are 45 different write ups to choose from, though you really only need to read this article or this review to get the gist of this new graphics card.

www.pcstats.com

"All of this hoopla has again come down to small slivers of difference between the best options from AMD and Nvidia, amazingly enough. These two companies and their partners have a very good handle on the competitive situation, and they've positioned their products accordingly. We're left to sort things out, and sometimes, the best answer is "take your pick." One thing we do know: these new entries at $259-269 are where you want to be. The GeForce GTX 570, Radeon HD 6950 2GB, and Radeon HD 6970 don't deliver enough additional performance to justify their prices."

Sparkle Nvidia GeForce GT240 OC 1024MB GDDR5
     Wed, Jan 26 2011 | 4:03P | Video Cards | PermaLink

"Ok, so it’s another Sparkle video card for review. Yes it’s a GT240, but this one is the overclocked edition, or plus edition as it’s labeled, but it’s really not. The box says it is but the core and clock speeds are the same as the other GT240 cards. It does feature 1024mb of DDR5 ram, so let’s just jump in here. "

Most Anticipated PC Games of 2011
     Wed, Jan 26 2011 | 4:00P | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
By now I think we can all agree that reports foretelling the demise of PCs as gaming platforms have been greatly exaggerated. Even though the landscape has shifted somewhat in recent years, with many companies putting a lot more effort behind console development, PC game sales still managed to grow 3% in a year where the industry as a whole was stalemate. That's no surprise with blockbusters like StarCraft II and WoW: Cataclysm breaking records last year. We expect 2011 to be another great year for gamers, with most of 2010’s delayed titles finally hitting store shelves and many other highly anticipated ones making their debut. To help you keep track of this year’s upcoming releases we’ve put together a list with nearly 30 titles, spanning a variety of genres, alongside their respective trailers and relevant information.

GeForce GTX 570 SLI review (Gigabyte)
     Wed, Jan 26 2011 | 12:03P | Video Cards | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
So the fine people from Gigabyte send out a 2nd card prior to the release of the GeForce GTX 570, and that product my fiends is really interesting, in 2-way SLI, as this article is going to show you. We see tremendous scaling and while 349 EUR per card is not exactly pocket change money, for roughly 700 EUR you can create a fragtastic monster PC with two GeForce GTX 570 cards.

We review the all new GeForce GTX 570, the little brother of the GTX 580. Armed with a license to kill it will hunt down all modern games. A card that will be positioned in the 349 EUR price bracket yet offers a massive chunk of high-end DirectX 11 performance alongside good GPU temperatures and noise levels.

SIIG USB 3.0 Bay Hub & USB 3.0 Card Upgrade Kit
     Wed, Jan 26 2011 | 12:01P | Motherboards | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
While USB 3.0 is certainly starting to garner more and more attention from motherboard manufacturers, and consumers in general, one thing still remains an issue with USB 3.0: lack of front SuperSpeed ports on cases! What is worse, the handful of cases that DO have front USB 3.0 ports, don't have internal USB 3.0 headers and rather rely on extremal connectors; meaning you need to snake a cable out and around BACK of the case. This is not a good thing. SIIG understands the need for front mounted ports and has created a very interesting combination kit, that is a PCI Express x1 USB 3.0 adapter AND a front SuperSpeed USB 4-port hub 3.5" / 5.25" bay adapter. This combination means you can get ALL the benefits of USB 3.0 without needing to reach around the back of your case to USE it! Read on for my full review.

Samsung 470 Series 256GB SSD Review
     Wed, Jan 26 2011 | 9:01A | Hard Drives/SSD | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
"Overall, we were duly impressed with the 470 Series and it exceeded its rated specifications of 250MB/s reads and 220MB/s writes in nearly every benchmark we threw at it. With Samsung being a relatively new player in the consumer SSD market, they are getting off to a great start. Samsung really surprised us with their 256GB 470 Series solid state drive. It performed above expectations on nearly every benchmark and kept pace with the SandForce drives that seem to the darling of the industry right now...."

While we may not all be sporting gamer keyboards, high end processors and screamingly fast graphics cards, almost everyone has something they want to show off in their house to a video calling friend. However, what if you want to do it in a nice high defintion, or at least 720p; where do you turn? A company called FaceVision offers a product in this range with their N1 720p webcam. ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution (Intel P67 Express) Motherboard
     Tue, Jan 25 2011 | 6:53P | Motherboards | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
"At CES this year we had the chance to talk to ASUS about some of their visions for the coming year as well as specifically about the P67 and Sandy Bridge. We were not surprised to hear that ASUS was thinking a little ahead of what we had heard from the other guys in terms of positioning their products. Although we have seen other companies streamline their feature sets across an entire product line, what we have not seen is pushing boards in a pre-emptive way to ensure great overclocking. This is what ASUS has done; as we told you before, they are designing all of their new boards to handle a much higher power and thermal envelope from the beginning. This means that you should be able to get some pretty impressive clocks out of even your basic boards. With that in mind, we are cracking open the box on one of our favourite lines of ASUS motherboards. This is the WS line; we have the P8P67 WS Revolution sitting on the test bench all ready to go."

Gigabyte P67A-UD4 Socket 1155 Motherboard
     Tue, Jan 25 2011 | 6:53P | Motherboards | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Gigabyte has announced the release of several different models based on the P67 chipset. Of their entire lineup announced, one to surely be popular is the P67A-UD4. You get native SATA III support, USB 3.0 via onboard controller, of course Sandy Bridge processor support, and those are just what you'll find on the typical P67 based motherboards. So what does Gigabyte have to offer? How have they gone above and beyond the norm? The UD4 model offers a plethora of features in addition to those. For starters, Gigabyte is now sporting a brand new sexy black look. As for that which isn't plainly obvious... Well, you'll just have to follow us down the rabbit hole and find out!
