SuperTooth HD Bluetooth Speakerphone @ TestFreaks
     Thu, Apr 26 2012 | 7:20A | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Laws they be a changing, and fighting the laws is just a rather fruitless and frustrating adventure I think. I know in my state there?s a law that just went into effect that basically says you can?t use your phone at all except with a hands-free device and that can be with a headset or something like a speakerphone. Today for review I?ve got the SuperTooth HD which is a Bluetooth speakerphone, but it?s much more than that as it can actually be your very own personal assistant. The SuperTooth HD is probably the most sophisticated or most advanced Bluetooth accessory that I?ve ever seen really. This product is mostly controlled by voice command for true hands-free access and communication, so read on?"

HIS Multi-View & Sound Adapter Review
     Mon, Apr 23 2012 | 4:08P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
With most modern graphics cards featuring video outputs for over 3 displays (some even more) professionals, enthusiasts and hardcore gamers should be more than just covered in case they wish to build a multi-monitor environment. Still there are many people who don`t actually wish to have that capability at their home or office but would rather have it with them everywhere they go and at any given time. To cover that specific segment of the market there are quite a few manufacturers out there producing external video adapters for use with notebooks and netbooks (mostly) which allow for multiple screen output through the typical USB ports. HIS is amongst them and today we will be taking a look at their brand new Multi-View & Sound adapter."

Head-Direct`s latest addition to the HE-line of headphones is the much anticipated HE-400. The HE-400 sells for only $400 which is quite low for a high-end set of planar magnetic headphones. We take them for a spin to see how they compare to both planar magnetic and dynamic headphones"

'Review: USB 3.0 to HDMI & VGA
     Wed, Apr 11 2012 | 1:43P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
When you are on the go, sometimes having the multimedia connectivity you want isn't always available to you. When I travel, I like to bring my laptop with me wherever I go and there is nothing better than sitting in a hotel room late at night with my laptop hooked up to their TV watching the movies I bring with me. There has also been plenty of times when I tried to sync three different videos running to three different TV's for a presentation booth. Unfortunately, my work laptop does not have an HDMI port built-in, and I hate traveling with more than one laptop. Luckily, StarTech has a solution that they think can give me the ability to travel light and connect my work laptop to any to type of monitor/TV.

Jaybird JF3 Freedom Bluetooth Wireless Headphones @ TestFreaks
     Wed, Apr 11 2012 | 10:05A | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Up for review today I have a unique set of Bluetooth headphones, the Jaybird JF3 Freedom. These are made for active people and they?re actually the official headphones of the USA Triathlon Team, so that right there should tell you something about them. The JF3 Freedom headphones are meant to be used while running or working out, they?re specifically designed with an active lifestyle in mind. These headphones are sealed to keep moisture out and even come with a lifetime warranty against sweat. In my time with them I?ve come to like them as a very good sounding set of headphones for listening to audio with. They do have a built-in microphone for making and receiving calls but I think that?s a secondary function as that?s not a feature you?ll want to use often?. "

Aperion Audio Zona Wireless Speaker System Review @MissingRemote
     Tue, Apr 10 2012 | 12:41P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
The prospect of wiring surround or multi-zone loudspeakers is often fraught with difficulty and may be a job best left to someone who can open up walls, fish speaker wire and install a wallplate with wire terminals. Instead of hiring a costly contractor or spending several hours and dollars in parts, Aperion Audio presents the Zona Wireless Speaker System which promises to lift the burden of wires from us. After our positive experience with Aperion Audio?s Intimus 4T speakers, our interest in Aperion Audio?s wireless solution was piqued. *"

Auna PS-7801 Wireless Speaker System Review - XSReviews
     Mon, Apr 09 2012 | 11:19A | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
The idea behind the Auna PS-7801s is a sound one -- plug the transmitter into your hi-fi, MP3 player or PC, then use the speakers wirelessly up to 100 metres away. Admittedly at that range you`ll be in a bit of a fix if you want to change tracks, but whatever, we`ll go with it. With down-firing subwoofers, integrated handles and some very PC gamer blue LED lighting, the Auna PS-7801s could be a big hit if they live up to their promise of power and portability. Let`s have a closer look and find out. A link to the article would be much appreciated."

"With plenty of praise from editorial reviewers and everyday audiophiles for their previous generation IE6 and IE8 in-ear headphone models, Sennheiser has a tall order to fill with their next-gen IE60 and IE80 in-ear headphones. After a few weeks of living with the IE60 as my main listening companion, how does it stack up to competitors in the $200+ price range? Read on to find out."

Sometimes i recall of a period when you could really have a hard time finding a nice Bluetooth earpiece to go with your brand new Bluetooth compatible cellular phone and so your only real choices were pretty much units manufactured by the same company as your phone. Fast forward almost a decade later and we now see countless Bluetooth earpieces from a large variety of companies ranging from small and young to large ones already counting many successful years in the market. Today's review is focused on such a product manufactured by Plantronics, one of the largest companies in the field and listens to the name Voyager PRO HD Bluetooth Headset.
