BUFFALO TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES NEW HI-SPEED MEMORY SOLUTIONS

FireStix is the Latest Addition to Buffalo's Premium Line of Memory Products that Improves PC Performance While Maximizing System Efficiency

Austin, Texas -June, 2004 - Buffalo Technology (USA), Inc., an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of memory products, announced today the latest additions to its award- winning line of advanced memory solutions. FireStix FSX500DV and FireStix FSX433DV promise to optimize system performance to enable faster and smoother gaming, audio / video streaming, animation rendering and multi-tasking.

"Technology is always changing and our customers want the latest and greatest that technology has to offer. In our world, it is solutions that
increase the performance of a PC to speeds never before dreamed of," stated Steve Havis, Director of Buffalo Technology's US Memory Division. "We are meeting an increasing demand by offering a turbo-charged solution that will exceed our customers' performance requirements and ultimately increase their productivity."

FireStix offers heat-draining aluminum heat spreaders for extended RAM life, which permit accelerated memory bus speeds for higher performance in gaming and overclocking environments. FireStix allows overclocking the memory bus at the same speed and bandwidth as the Front Side Bus (FSB), which eliminates any bottleneck issues and allows for maximum data transfer efficiency. Other features include 64-bit memory bus and speeds of PC3500 (FSX433DV) and PC4000 (FSX500DV). Both offer 184pin unbuffered NonECC and 256MB and 512MB capacities.

The FireStix FSX433DV and FSX500DV by Buffalo Technology are now available at MSRPs of $95 for the PC4000 256MB and $170 for the PC4000 512MB respectively.
