AquaMark is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Using vertex shaders, any card that is DirectX8 compatible will not just have a huge speed boost, the image will also look better. Default test has 24 MB worth of textures.

For a budget card, the PixelView GeForce4 MX440-8X performs quite well. It's able to match the far more advanced ECS AG400 (Xabre400). Please remember though, because the PixelView is a DirectX 7 part it does not support Pixel Shaders.

With the resolution higher, the PixelView GeForce4 MX440-8X starts to out perform the ECS AG400. Overclocking does boost performance quite a bit!
