Benchmarks: Winbench 99, SiSoft Sandra

Winbench 99 V1.2 Source: e-Testinglabs.com

WinBench 99 is a subsystem-level benchmark that measures the performance of a PC's graphics, disk, and video subsystems in a Windows environment. WinBench 99's tests can run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows Me systems.

MSI K8T Neo Score Ranking
1a. Business Disk - 200/400

10200

1b. Business Disk - 225/375

9570

2a. High-End Disk - 200/400 32900

4a. High-End Graphics - 200/400 2300
4b. High-End Graphics - 225/375 2460

This is the first test we've seen with a K8T800 based motherboard so I'm not sure if those scores are good or not. They look pretty good, above what P4/AthlonXP's get.

Sisoft Sandra 2003 Source: Sandra

Sandra is designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system and individual components. The numbers taken though are again, purely theoretical and may not represent real world performance. Higher numbers represent better performance.

6b Float SSE2 - Athlon64 3200+ Oc'ed (2.25 GHz) 2853 MB/s

The K8T800 has a lot of Integer and Floating Point power. Scores are not as high as HT enabled Pentium 4's but it feels more powerful when you're using it. Memory bandwidth is relatively low but remember the Athlon64 only has one 64 bit memory controller built into the core. The Athlon64 FX has a dual channel memory controller.
