The
latest version of the popular PCMark series, PCMark04 is an application-based
benchmark and a premium tool for measuring overall PC performance. It uses
portions of real applications instead of including whole applications or using
specifically created code. This allows PCMark04 to maintain a smaller
installation size while still giving accurate results.

All three
motherboards score about the same results in PCMark04, although the K8T800
PRO based MSI K8T Neo2-FIR does have a slight advantage in the memory
portion.
By
combining DirectX8 support with completely new graphics, 3DMark 2001 SE
continues to provide a good overall system benchmark. 3DMark2001 SE was created
in co-operation with the major 3D accelerator and processor manufacturers to
provide a reliable set of diagnostic tools. The suite demonstrates 3D gaming
performance by using real-world gaming technology to test a system's true
abilities. Tests include: DirectX8 Vertex Shaders, Pixel Shaders and Point
Sprites, DOT3 and Environment Mapped Bump Mapping, support for Full Scene
Anti-aliasing and Texture Compression and two game tests using Ipion real-time
physics. Higher 3DMark scores denote better performance.

The Epox
9NDA3+ comes in last in 3DMark2001, but just by a small margin. I must be
getting old, since I remember when scoring 20k in 3DMark2001 was difficult. Now
a stock Athlon64 4000+ with an X800XT PE is almost able to break 30k at stock
speeds.
3DMark05
is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking
series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with
support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher!

In
3DMark05 the K8T800 PRO, MSI K8T Neo2-FIR motherboard jumps to an early lead and
extends it further in the CPU portion of the test. The Epox 9NDA3+ brings
up the rear in this benchmark, but only by a slim margin
