Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 Motherboard Review - PCSTATS
The new Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 motherboard is based on the VIA K8T800 Pro chipset, and with a sticker price of $135CDN is quite a steal next to the competition.

Benchmarks: SiSoft Sandra 2004, Super Pi

SiSoft Sandra 2004 Source: Sandra

Sandra is designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system as well as the individual components. The results are also purely theoretical and may not represent real world performance.

The processor scores are in line with what we had expected, but the memory numbers are very good. The Nforce 4 holds the memory bandwidth crown in the Athlon 64 world, but Soltek's board comes close. Let's see how other applications react to this.

Super Pi Source: SuperPI

SuperPI calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1 Million digits and 19 iterations.

SuperPi

ASRock K8 Combo-Z/ASR (Ali M1689 200/400) 36
Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 (K8T800 Pro 200/400) 34

A system that can calculate 1 million digits of Super Pi in 34 seconds is extremely fast, no question about it! Very impressive results for Soltek here, as the SL-K8TPro-939 ties the brand new Nforce 4 chipset in this test.
