Benchmarks: SiSoft Sandra 2005, Super Pi

SiSoft Sandra 2005 Source: Sandra

Sandra is designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system as well as the individual components. The results are also purely theoretical and may not represent real world performance.

Obviously, the lack of dual-channel memory hurts the 661FM3-V in the Sandra memory benchmark. We'll see if it has negative effects on performance in our other tests in a moment. The CPU and multimedia numbers are right where they should be.

Super Pi Source: SuperPI

SuperPI calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1 Million digits and 19 iterations.

This is not a fantastic result for the 661FM3-V, but it's not too far behind the rest of the motherboards. The single-channel memory controller is not an issue in this benchmark.
