Adjusting the Monitor

One of the nicer aspects of the Samsung Syncmaster 743B is its adjustability. The screen tilts backward 25° and forward 5°, rises up 80mm, and rotates to the left or right. Little effort is required to make most adjustments. The extreme range of adjustment possible with the Samsung 743B's stand are illustrated in the following images.

Vertical height adjustment of 80mm.

The Syncmaster 743B screen can tilt upwards of 30°.

The 17" panel rotates from a landscape view to portrait, while supplied MagicRotation software facilitates adjusting the screen image to match panel orientation. The Samsung 743B monitor rests on a circular stand that gives it good stability, and also hides a lazy-suzan. The Syncmaster 743B doesn't rotate endlessly, but will turn a full 360°. Rubber grips on the base make sure the stand display don't slide around on a desk.

Software and image quality tests are up next!
