PCmark Vantage shows just how close AMD has come with it's latest Phenom II X4 processor to rivaling the Intel Core i7. Both CPUs win some benchmarks and lose a few others. Surprisingly the AMD system does better during memory testing, despite the Core i7 920 having a triple-channel memory bandwidth. Overall results are quite close, 6153 PCmarks for the Phenom, 6173 for the Core i7.
