A special note: There are two sets of AMD Phenom II X6 1090T benchmarks listed in the PCSTATS benchmark charts, one with TurboCore enabled (ON, by default), the other with TurboCore disabled (OFF). Turbocore will affect performance in situations where up to three cores are being loaded, increasing the frequency of those three cores to as high as 3.6GHz. In situtation where four or more cores are loaded the processor will be clocked at its native 3.2GHz operating speed. When TurboCore is disabled the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T will run all six of its cores at a fixed 3.2GHz clockspeed. With that said, Sysmark 2007 isn't really affected by TurboCore at all.

The AMD Phenom II X6 1090T puts up a very strong overall score of 176 points, second only to the Intel Core i7 920 and 750 processors, and AMD's own 3.4GHz Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition processor. PCMark Vantage is next, and as you'll see after the jump in this benchmark TurboCore can make a big difference...
