There's a lot you can do with a touch screen notebook,
but there is nothing faster than a keyboard for writing. One problem we've
often encountered with notebooks is insufficient space for the palms to rest,
making touch typing uncomfortable. Samsungs' ATIV Book 9-Lite has generous palm
rests, a tile style keyboard which is responsive and a generously
sized touch pad with integrated click buttons. Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity
allows a wireless mouse to be readily connected, or you can forgo
all this and interact with Windows 8 directly via the multi-point
touch screen interface.

There are no ports or connectors along the front or
rear edges of the ATIV Book 9-Lite.
All ports and jacks are grouped together on the
left and right edge of the notebook, rather than spread out and creating a
thicker profile out of necessity.

glass-fiber reinforced plastic surface are cooling vents, speaker grills at either corner and an SD memory card
