MSI K7T266-Pro2 RU Motherboard Review - PCSTATS

K7T266Pro2 BIOS Features

The BIOS seems to be a dumbed down version of a typical Award BIOS, there aren't quite as many tweaks available and one noticeable absence was the availability of VIO adjustments.

Other then that, the BIOS is pretty adjustable. There are not quite as many memory tweaks as say on the Abit KG7 or EpoX 8KHA+, but enough to keep the weekend tweaker happy. One totally weird problem I had was the K7T266Pro2-Ru didn't get along too well with my Athlon XP1800+ processor. During testing, it would spontaneously reboot, crash or hang - damn plastic chips! When I was using a regular Athlon 1.4 GHz CPU I didn't experience any of these frustrating problems.
