MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R Motherboard Review
MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R Motherboard Review - PCSTATS
The question as we see it is whether or not MSI can provide the gear necessary to convert die hard overclockers who usually have a lot of brand loyalty (ie. Asus, Abit, Epox).

SysMark2002 is more of an extension of SysMark2001 rather then a whole new benchmark. The applications used during testing have been updated and most importantly for AMD users, the new SysMark2002 uses the Windows Media Encoder 7.1 which supports the AthlonXP's SSE instructions.

Here we see that the MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R is just a tad faster then then the i865PE based motherboards at stock speeds.

Winstone 2002 Source: Zdnet

Content Creation Winstone 2002 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit, content creation applications on Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Windows XP.

Business Winstone 2002 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running today's top-selling Windows-based 32-bit applications on Windows 98, Windows 2000 (SP6 or later), Windows Me, or Windows XP. Business Winstone doesn't mimic what these packages do; it runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete those activities to produce its performance scores.

7. Pentium 4 3.0C/MSI i875P (230/460) 37.8

The performance difference between i865PE and i875P motherboards according to the Winstone 2002 benchmarks is less then 2% at stock speeds. Overclocking does boost performance a bit.
