series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with
support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher!

3DMark overall score of the ASRock K8 Combo-Z/ASR with the Athlon64 4000+ CPU is
actually quite good. It's able to beat out the Epox 9NDA3+ in this portion of
the benchmark. The CPU score is a bit low though.
AquaMark3
is a powerful tool to determine reliable information about the gaming
performance of computer systems. Because the benchmark extensively utilizes
DirectX9, DirectX8 and DirectX7 functionality, it represents the requirements of
typical gaming applications in 2003 and 2004.

It seems
AquaMark3 is a bit harsher on the ASRock K8 Combo-Z/ASR. It does not perform so
well here when compared to the other boards. overall though, the scores are
still decent, especially considering the price of the motherboard.
