While Call of Juarez pulls off all the classic FPS mechanisms with aplomb, it also features interesting variations that give it the air and feel of a true Western movie. The player has the genuine impression of being a pistol-packing hero in an age when armed confrontation was the daily grind for many adventurers. The Developers have incorporated a classic shooting system as well as two extra game modes.

Call of Juarez is also not the best game to run on an IGP, unplayable at both low and high resolutions. Fortunately even a mid-range videocard is enough to push it into playable framerates. You can also see just how much of an improvement that Geforce GTS 250 is compared to the older Geforce 8800 GTS 320.

Crysis 1.2

Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter developed by Crytek. Crysis uses Microsoft's new API, DirectX 10 for graphics rendering, and includes the new engine—the CryEngine 2—that is the successor to Far Cry's CryEngine. CryEngine 2 is among the first engines to use the DirectX 10 framework of Windows Vista, but can also run using DirectX 9, both on Vista and Windows XP. The ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO and the AMD 785G chipset doesn't do nearly as well as motherboards based on the AMD 790GX chipset in this test at low resolutions. At higher quality settings things even out more, with all of the IGPs equally unable to run Crysis. This is where having a Geforce GTS 250 comes in handy!
