SYSmark2001 uses real world applications concurrently as an accurate way to test the system by following patterns that reflect the way real users work. SYSmark2001's workloads accurately represent today's updated business usage model. The benchmark runs at a realistic execution speed, with think times between application interactions, in order to emulate a desktop user's interaction with the operating system and applications. Higher numbers denote better performance.

Internet Content Creation

1. FIC AN11 - 133 MHz 192
2. FIC AN11 - 140 MHz 201

Office Productivity

1. FIC AN11 - 133 MHz 162
2. FIC AN11 - 140 MHz 175

The AN11 does fairly well in SysMark 2001 even though the Media Encoder part of the test doesn't use the AthlonXP's SSE. As we can see, overclocking does improve performance to 201 from 192, and to 175 from 162 with office productivity.

Winstone 2001 Source: Zdnet

Content Creation Winstone 2001 keeps multiple applications open at once and switches among those applications. Content Creation Winstone 2001's activities focus on what we call "hot spots," periods of activity that make your PC really work--the times where you're likely to see an hourglass or a progress bar.

Business Winstone is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running today's Windows-based 32-bit applications on Windows 98 ME, Windows NT 4.0 (SP6 or later), Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Windows XP which runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete those activities to produce its performance scores.

1 Business Winstone - AN11 - 133 MHz 43.3
2. Business Winstone - AN11 - 140 MHz 49.1

As with SysMark2001, Winstone 2001 tests all say that you don't need a AthlonXP 2000+ with a KT266A and DDR RAM to run office based applications (because they run faster than a human can really use them). Office software still has a way to go before it can take advantage of current CPU's raw power.

Winbench 99 V1.2 Source: e-Testinglabs.com

WinBench 99 is a subsystem-level benchmark that measures the performance of a PC's graphics, disk, and video subsystems in a Windows environment. WinBench 99's tests can run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows Me systems.

3a. Business Graphics - 140 MHz 921
4. High-End Graphics - 133 MHz 1550
4a. High-End Graphics - 140 MHz 1710

The HDD performance of the FIC AN11 is low compared to other KT266A boards we have looked at. As for the AGP performance, it's the opposite, the numbers the AN11 Stealth pulls in are quite good! I wonder if there's a driver related issue here...

Sandra is designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system and individual components. The numbers taken though are again, purely theoretical and may not represent real world performance.

6. Float FPU - 100 MHz 1902 MB/s
6a. Float FPU - 115 MHz 2098 MB/s

The FIC AN11 Stealth with the AthlonXP 1900+ (that is detected as a XP2000+ for some reason) produces results in Sandra which are faster then the reference CPU's.
