HDMI Motherboard Highlights Continued

On the rear I/O of the Biostar TF7050-M2 motherboard we find the HDMI connector which allows you to connect the motherboard to a high definition display (cable not included). The HDMI cable and connector are keyed so it can only be installed in one direction. If you don't have a high definition monitor, there is an S-Video output for standard definition televisions.

Starting with S-Video on the left, the seven pin connector can output an analog S-Video signal supports resolutions up to 480i and 576i (standard definition) and is compatible with the NTSC, PAL and SECAM video standards.

The 19 pin HDMI connector carries both an audio and video signal to the high definition display and it also supports HDCP encryption. HDMI is capable of transferring data at resolutions of 720P, 1080i and 1080P (which the onboard GeForce 7050 all supports).

The 15 pin analog VGA connector at right is designed to be used with regular computer monitors and it supports resolutions up to 1920x1440 at a 75 Hz refresh rate.
