Two PCI Express x16 slots flank a single PCI Express x1 slot, and another three legacy PCI slots are available for expansion. A single PCI Express x16 GFX card runs in x16 mode, two in SLI run in x8/x8 mode.

Six 3.0GBps SATA II ports are tucked into the corner of the motherboard, in front of three USB hearers and the motherboard's front panel header, which is colour coded, with polarity noted. There are also physical on-board power and reset switches which is a nice touch. The nVidia nForce 750a SLI chipset is tucked away under a passive heatpipe.

The Biostar TPower N750 has four DDR2 memory DIMM slots that can be installed with up to 8GB of DDR2-1066/800/667/533MHz RAM.

There is a fair amount of space around the AMD Socket AM2/AM2+ CPU socket, which is good for large quietly cooled processor heatsinks. The IDE connector and the 24-pin power connector are located off to the side, out of the way.

The red jumpers between the PCI Express x16 slots control the SLI functionality of the motherboard, to switch between single and dual-GPU modes a jumper must be closed off.

Overclocking test results are coming next, how fast do you think PCSTATS can push this Biostar TPower N750 motherboard? Let's find that out, right after the jump....
