Swapping out the Geforce 8800GTS 320MB for the Geforce GTS 250 makes for some dramatic speed improvements, as does swapping out to a Phenom II X4 955 from the triple core Phenom II 720. Altogether the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard is posting results twice as fast as the previous AMD test systems.

Sierra FEAR 1.08

FEAR is Sierra's latest first person shooter which relies heavily on DirectX 9 features. With its "Soft Shadows" feature enabled, even the fastest videocards run at a crawl, FEAR is definitely the new benchmark for future FPS games to follow.

There's a bit of a bottleneck in FEAR that lets the Biostar Tpower N750 system nearly perform as well as the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P, but it's still the overall winner.
