Access to Memory and other Components

On the bottom of the R480-i5-430 you'll have access to all of the user-servicable hardware aspects of the notebook: memory, hard drive and processor.

There are two accessible memory slots, both of which ship installed with a 2GB DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM module from the memory company Samsung, for a total 4GB PC3-8500. The 500GB 2.5" SATA hard drive sits in a simple metal casing and could be easily removed and replaced if necessary. The mini-PCI slot holds a 802.11bgn wireless network card.

The CPU is also exposed, and could potentially be user serviceable - just make sure to check your warranty carefully first!
