FEAR is a DX9 title that demonstrates just how far IGPs have come. The Biostar TH67XE test system scores 36 FPS here, compared to AMD's A8-3850 Fusion APU which wins hands down with a 57FPS result.

Call of Juarez is a tough DX10 title for IGPs. The Biostar TH67XE motherboard's cores 27.3 FPS @ 1024x768, 6.1FPS @ 1600x1200. Moral of this story, buy a mainstream discreet graphics card if you're a serious gamer.

In Crysis the Biostar TH67XE motherboard and its HD 3000 Sandy Bridge integrated graphics achieve 7.2 FPS. The AMD A8-3850 APU platform on the other hand nets 14.9FPS at best. Both results are too slow to actually play this game, at these resolutions.

In PCMark Vantage we can see how the CPU-based IGP impacts (or doesn't impact) office application performance. That's up next, then the conclusions.
