3DMark06 is the worldwide standard in advanced 3D game performance benchmarking. Gigabyte's GA-X79-UD5 motherboard test system scores a fantastic Overall result of 18817! The CPU-sub test is particularly telling; it certainly doesn't hurt to have a quad-core/eight-thread processor clocked at 3.6GHz.... the result of 25084 (x32) and 25121 (x64) top the previous charts (and AMD's Bulldozer CPU) by nearly 30%!
