Gigabyte's GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB platform manages a result of 8.2GB/s in the multicore efficiency benchmark with a Sandy Bridge processor and 8.59GB/s with an Ivy Bridge CPU in the drivers seat. Realistically speaking, there's not a whole lot of performance advantage with IVB over SNB, so you may as well save a few quid, as the Brits say. Memory Bandwidth hovers around 17.75 GB/s and 18.1 GB/s, respectively.
