Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo

Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound and gameplay are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.

More of the same in UT2003... The Kingston HyperX performs the same as the Corsair at stocks and when overclocked gets a nice performance bump.

Not bad, not bad at all...

While still a newbie in the overclocking market, Kingston have done very well for themselves with their HyperX line.

It's certainly nice to see more and more manufacturers embrace the overclocking community by producing better parts which handle the riggor of overclocking better.

If you're building a new high end system with one of the 400 MHz based AthlonXP's or P4 C chips then you'll need some high quality memory to go as well. It's nice to know that with a retail price of about $158USD for two sticks via ZeusPC the Kingston HyperX PC3500 will not break the bank!

With a stock speed of 216 MHz with 2-3-3-7 timings we were able to push the memory modules to 223 MHz, using more aggressive timings of 2-2-2-5 we could only hit 216 MHz. While I'm still out on the issue of burn-in, many hardcore overclockers out there tell me that the Kingston HyperX memory modules perform better as they age.

On a side note, even though our memory modules were not specifically designed to run in dual channel mode, they worked flawlessly together in both nForce2 and i875P/i865PE based motherboards.

If you're looking for some new high quality performance memory modules see if you can get your hands on some Kingston HyperX. It's not the fastest stuff on the market but when you consider it's relatively low price, I'd say it is a pretty good value!
