Benchmarks: AquaMark
AquaMark
is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Using vertex shaders, any card that is DirectX8
compatible will not just have a huge speed boost, the image will also look
better. Default test has 24 MB worth of textures.
At
1024x768 all videocards are perfectly gamable and you would have a tough time
telling the difference between the systems in real work gaming
situations.
As the
resolution is turned up higher the mainstream cards start to lag behind. Still
the Crucial Radeon 9600 Pro does very well when you compare it to the GeForceFX
5600 Ultra competition.
