Configuration Options

The System tab allows you to rename the access point for organizational purposes, select the wireless mode you wish to use (if you like you can restrict the GN-A17GU to 802.11b mode only) and set the SNMP community string.

If you have a second wireless NIC installed in the add-in slot, you can change between the two separate wireless networks with the ‘card config type’ option.

IP config tab: Allows you to change the IP address and settings of the access point, as well as configure the built-in DHCP server.
