Security Configuration

Wireless operation tab: Configures wireless settings including channel, speed, SSID and SSID concealment.

Encryption tab: Allows you to enable WEP (Wireless Encryption Protocol) and set the type and strength of the encryption. The Gigabyte GN-A17GU supports open system and shared key WEP up to 152-bit in strength, as well as 802.1x and 802.1x – dynamic WEP security.

Advanced tab: Enables and configures MAC address filtering, allowing you to choose which clients can connect to the access point based on the unique address of their wireless network adaptor.
