Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.

If your game is FPS's you'll definitely be pleased with the Gigabyte GV-N595U-GT. In the flyby demos only 6x and 8x AA make the game tank, everything else provides perfectly playable frame rates.

I'll take a ride with the GT any day!

PCstats evaluated the Gigabyte GV-N595U earlier in the year, and we were quite pleased with how it performed. When we received the Gigabyte GV-N595U-GT a few weeks later we thought we were getting something entirely different. Instead, what we got was a rather unassuming GeForceFX 5950 Ultra reference card on a blue PCB with Gigabyte GT engraved onto the intake shroud. What set this card apart from its brother? Pure overclocking performance!

The stock performance of the GV-N595U-GT videocard was excellent, as it should be. In the benchmarks it was constantly fighting it out with ATi's Radeon 9800XT for the top spot.

The GV-N595U-GT also proved to be a heck of an overclocker. I'm not sure this card was the exception to the rule, but I have a feeling that most GT cards will perform similarly... As the benchmarks suggest, running 559/1070 really does improve overall performance greatly!

The Gigabyte GV-N595U-GT should be hitting stores any day now, and since it's based on the GeForceFX 5950 Ultra GPU, expect it to be priced in the $600-$700 CDN ($400-500 US) range. If you want the best and have the potential to overclock higher than anyone else, check out the Gigabyte GV-N595U-GT. I think you'll like what you see for the most part.
