				Benchmarks: AquaMark3, Gun Metal 2

AquaMark3
is a powerful tool to determine reliable information about the gaming
performance of a computer system. Because the benchmark
extensively utilizes DirectX9, DirectX8 and DirectX7 functionality, it
represents the requirements of typical gaming applications in 2003 and 2004.

AquaMark3
is a pure videocard benchmark, and here we see it really likes overclocked
setups! At stock speeds, the Aopen FX5900XT performs on par with the Asus Radeon A9600XT
videocard.

Gun Metal
2 is one of the first games that will be taking advantage of DirectX 9 technology.
According to Gun Metal 2, 2x AA is enabled by
default on all videocards and the listed framerates are
average.

At stock
speeds, AOpen GeForceFX 5900XT performs pretty well overall. When it is
overclocked, it simply destroys the competition. Muhhahahahhaha!

One thing
I've never fully understood about Gun Metal 2 or AquaMark3 is why overclocked
videocards do so darn well, even when they're slower then the higher end cards?
Oh well, performance is excellent none the less.
