AquaMark is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Vertex shaders provide a huge image quality and speed boost for compatible cards. The Default test has 24 MB worth of textures.

We see one of the Albatron Trinity GeForce 6600GT's strengths emerge in this test. As the resolution increases, it's performance relative to many of the other cards also increases. Trailing the 9800 XT and Pro slightly at 1024x768, it beats them handily at 1600x1200. Overclocking helped performance considerably at higher resolutions. Nothing to choose again between the PCI-Express and AGP versions of the GPU.
