Since we're dealing with the Intel ICH8R southbridge, SATA RAID 0/1/5/10/JBOD is standard. Of course there's more to the AB9 Pro than just Serial ATA, this Socket 775 Intel P965 Express based motherboard has a lot going for it.

ABIT AB9 Pro Motherboard Highlights
Expansion with the ABIT AB9 Pro includes a single PCI
Express x16 videocard slot, two PCI Express x2 slots, and two 32-bit PCI
slots. Interspaced in this region are the floppy, IDE and a few
of the SATA headers.

The bottom right
hand corner of the ABIT AB9 Pro motherboard, we find the front panel I/O
header, Port 80 diagnostics card, USB 2.0 headers (blue), IEEE
1394 headers (red) along with three fan headers and six more SATA jacks.
The Intel ICH8R southbridge is cooled by a small passive aluminum heatsink
(no heatpipes or fans).

Nine serial
ATA channels offers up plenty of storage choice, and all of it with the option for RAID. All
Serial ATA II ports on the ABIT AB9 Pro are Click Connect compatible,
reducing the chance cables will come loose from the slot. There is one
additional eSATA port at the rear I/O of the AB9 Pro
too.
