Buffalo uses Hynix HY5DU56822BT-D43 DRAM on their PC4200 memory modules and they performed very well inspite of only officially being rated for 200 MHz.

It appears as though Hynix are producing some of the fastest DRAM on the market, and we expect the other manufacturers to adopt it for their high speed memory DIMMs.

Performance of the Buffalo PC4300 DDR memory modules on the AMD rig was very impressive, but not the best we've seen. If you're an AMD user I'd have to suggest you get something with Winbond BH-5 DRAM. They allow you to run tighter timings which is just as important in the AMD world. We were able to hit a nice 227 MHz FSB with default voltage (using 2-3-3-6 timings), but the PC4300 would not run any faster even if we raised the voltage.

If the name of your game is Intel, than the Buffalo PC4200 DIMM's should have you drooling. We were able to push the memory to 263 MHz FSB with only 2.8V. I'm sure there are quite a few of you out there that are happy to hear this memory runs just fine with the 5:4 and 3:2 memory dividers enabled also.
