Benchmarks: Quake III Arena
Quake III
Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS) that revolutionized gaming as we know it.
Using multiple light sources and having graphics textures that can fill
videocards.
Along with
3Dmark 2001, the granddaddy of 3D benchmarking, taking over from Quake II before
it.
Nvidia pretty much owns this benchmark, as you can see, but
the difference between the 5950 and its lesser sibling is slight.
