AquaMark is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Using vertex shaders, any card that is DirectX8 compatible will not just have a huge speed boost, the image will also look better. The default test has 24 MB worth of textures.

Here in AquaMark 2.3 things start to look up for the Albatron GeForce PC6600. At 1024x768, its performance is not too far behind the top end cards, and the game is playable at higher resolutions as well!
