3DMark2001 SE was created in co-operation with the major 3D accelerator and processor manufacturers to provide a reliable set of diagnostic tools. The suite demonstrates 3D gaming performance by using real-world gaming technology to test a system's true abilities. Tests include: DirectX8 Vertex Shaders, Pixel Shaders and Point Sprites, DOT3 and Environment Mapped Bump Mapping, support for Full Scene Anti-aliasing and Texture Compression and two game tests using Ipion real-time physics. Higher 3DMark scores denote better performance.

3DMark2001 scores are quite nice. This benchmark benefits greatly from clock speed and the other systems simply have more of it to spare.

Futuremark 3DMark05	Source: FutureMark

3DMark05 is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher.

With a single PCI Express videocard, 3D performance is about the same as the other nForce4 SLI motherboards. With two GeForce 7800GTX's in SLI installed, the system seems to bottleneck the videocards ever so slightly.
