We review the Corsair Gaming H2100 wireless headset. The H2100 is a follow-up model to the Vengeance series and works through a USB transmitter powered Dolby headset. One charge will get you 9 hours of wireless headset gaming over two quality Neodyne 50mm drivers. These surround sound headphones offer 16-bit/48 KHz playback and come with Dolby Pro Logic IIx certification and a new color theme, black is back.

Corsair Gaming H1500 USB Gaming Headset
     Thu, Dec 04 2014 | 12:01P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Corsair recently rebranded many of their gaming peripherals to the new “Corsair Gaming” moniker. While a simple rename doesn’t mean much, the new branding was immediately followed by a wave of new devices from Corsair. These range from the new RGB equipped keyboards and mice to their new H-series headsets. Today we’ll be taking a look at the new H1500 headset, a USB gaming headset that promises virtual Dolby 7.1 audio and powerful 50mm drivers. The H1500 has been designed with PC gaming in mind, it’s got everything you could need for home or competitive gaming. It features powerful drivers to help you get lost in your favourite digital environment, backed up with surround sound support for extra immersion. There’s also a high quality folding microphone for team chat and an in-line controller to help you keep the most important controls within easy reach. Of course, a desktop headset needs to be more versatile than just gaming, so I’ll be expecting good all-round audio performance from the new H1500 in movies, music and gaming alike.

Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma Gaming Headset Review @ Legit Reviews
     Tue, Nov 25 2014 | 5:18P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Peripherals with multicolor lighting are trending this year thanks in part to Corsair?s RGB keyboards redefining creative possibilities. The hyped showcase at CES 2014 was beset by many months of waiting for the actual release and during that time, other companies have stepped up to the plate with their own similar offerings. Razer answered in time with its Chroma lineup which includes a headset with multicolor illumination unlike the new Corsair Gaming lineup. As such, Razer becomes the second in recent memory to offer a gaming peripheral set consisting of a keyboard, mouse, and headset with multicolor lighting. The first set that could be assembled was from some 2013 SteelSeries products such as their Apex keyboard, Sensei Wireless mouse, and Siberia Elite headset. This review focuses on the Kraken 7.1 Chroma, the headset entry in Razer?s new Chroma lineup as well as a new addition to the Kraken family of headsets. The Kraken 7.1 Chroma features RGB multicolor lighting, virtual surround sound, and a retractable microphone."

Ultimate Ears BOOM Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Review
     Sat, Nov 22 2014 | 1:07P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
For the past 5 years or so I?ve been looking all over the market to track down the perfect portable wireless speaker (the holy grail of wireless speakers as i like to call it) with no luck really. Sure many models by some of the leading companies in the field have reached us some of which performed extremely well both in terms of audio quality and volume levels while others offered a plethora of interesting and innovative features including built-in MP3 players, battery packs (used to recharge other devices), voice recorders and even on-the-fly voice changers but in the end to my disappointment none offered both. Ultimate Ears has been around for quite some time and I?ve worked with them in the past but ever since they joined with Logitech for reasons unknown we drifted apart. Well I?m happy to say that this ends today since with us we have their best portable wireless speaker to date the BOOM."
