Tech-Life BeatBlock WET Weatherproof Bluetooth Speaker
     Fri, Mar 07 2014 | 8:23P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
How many times have you wished you could listen to your favorite songs while at the beach or even while in the comfort of you bathroom? I`m well aware that although the first part seems quite natural to some people the second may not (at least not as much) but personally whenever i find the time to dive in the bathtub i always like to have some short of music playing in order to relax (either by using one of my smartphones or my tablet). Well the obvious and easiest way to accomplish that is by using a portable wireless speaker however although the market is filled with countless models there aren`t really that many which combine good audio clarity with plenty of volume and even less also feature a rugged/weatherproof enclosure. Almost a year ago a company called Tech-life sent us their BeatBlock Premium Bluetooth Wireless Speaker which at the time offered a very good bang for the buck. "

Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Headphone Review @ ModSynergy.com
     Thu, Mar 06 2014 | 10:17A | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
In the audio industry, the Sennheiser brand is world renown for their audio excellence. They`ve been in the business for decades upon decades and have extensive knowledge with what constitutes as true audio. We`ve looked at two Sennheiser In-Earphones five years earlier and came away impressed with how great they sounded. In fact, those two In-Earphones are still working to this day. Today I`ve got the opportunity to re-connect with Sennheiser in 2014 and experience one of their latest headphones that`s gaining quite the interest. Today at ModSynergy, I`ve got the pleasure in introducing our review of the Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Headphones and share with you everything you need to know about these classy looking headphones, with the Ivory color model being tested today. Sit back and read more of our review, where we cover what`s given, how it sounds, and how it executes. Will this be the product that helps Sennheiser gain more Momentum heading forward?"

Attitude One Almaz Stylish Headphones
     Wed, Mar 05 2014 | 5:00P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Although i do enjoy listening to my favorite tunes while on the road in my car with the volume turned all the way up i can`t say that i feel just as comfortable doing so when Im on foot since where i live people tend to stare if they see you wearing headphones especially if it`s a bulky model. Because of that Im always trying to use the smallest headphones i can get my hands on without of course compromising on sound quality at the same time (doing so would be like missing the point). Unfortunately small headphones equal to small earcups and small earcups in turn equal to small driver units used (at least the majority of times) which naturally can`t perform exactly like the ones used in larger models so up till this day i have yet to find the perfect headphones for me. Well the people over at Attitude One seem quite confident that they can change that with their brand new Almaz Stylish Headphones."

Bitfenix Flo Gaming Headset Review! @ Bjorn3D
     Wed, Mar 05 2014 | 5:00P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
It is starting to be a common sight that companies are starting to branch out from their regular type of products. Corsair for example started as a vendor mainly for memory but today have both cases and other gaming gear. Bitfenix used to be a mainly case-company and this does some amazing nice cases (including the Phenom M we recently reviewed). They too however have branched out and today we are reviewing the newest product from them: the Bitfenix Flo headset. This is a stereo headset that works both for the PC as well as for mobile products. "

Samsung 840 EVO mSATA SSD Review
     Wed, Mar 05 2014 | 8:31A | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
There is no doubt in anyones mind that 2014 will be the year of the M.2/NGFF SSD, however, Samsung is about to release an SSD that is guaranteed to rock the SSD community like few others have. This SSD is the Samsung 840 EVO 1TB mSATA SSD and it, not only is the one and only mSATA SSD capable of 1TB storage available in the world, but also, Samsung has priced this SSD at only $10 higher than its sister 1TB notebook form factor SSD. To say that there are more than a few mSATA SSD storage based notebook owners that have been waiting for some time for exactly this type of capacity is an understatement; Lenovo Thinkpad sales surpassed the 60 million mark some time ago."

8 PCIe & SATA M.2 SSDs Test ASRocks Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+ AMD MotherBoard
     Tue, Feb 25 2014 | 2:55P | Audio / Sound | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
To be frank, we started testing with two thoughts in mind, the first naturally wanting to confirm that we could attain PCIe 2.0 X2 performance, and the second was to validate that the M.2 connector could automatically detect M.2 SSD type and switch off, whether it be PCIe X2 or SATA 3. From there, well we just kept testing M.2 SSD after M.2 SSD until we ran out, eight in total and one that didnt want to cooperate with the AMD chipset."
