FUNC KB-460 Mechanical Keyboard Review @ HardwareHeaven.com
     Tue, Dec 31 2013 | 10:02A | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Just over a year ago Func made a second, first impression on the gaming market with the launch of their Surface 1030XL mouse pad. It was a high quality product and they followed that up with the MS-3 gaming mouse in February of this year. There is of course an obvious progression from the launch of a pad then mouse and today we have the result of that on our test bench. The KB-460 is a mechanical keyboard with various functions important to gamers, so let`s take a look..."

ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow Illuminated Gaming Mechanical Keyboard Review
     Mon, Dec 30 2013 | 4:01P | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
The Ryos MK Glow Illuminated Mechanical Gaming from ROCCAT was awesome, though it took me till the very end to finally figure that out. I liked nearly every aspect of this keyboard, from the Black key switches, to the blue color scheme, to the slightly overly complicated software. For pure gaming, this keyboard is sublime. The possibilities for customization are awe inspiring. Certain users will dislike the small number of standalone macros, but for those who are adventurous enough, there are more macros than ever before. It does require some extra space because of the solid, integrated wrist rest and extra mysterious width, but that is a total afterthought compared to making games play almost any way you want. Having every key light up and having your very own overly dramatic man voice tell you how to quick record keys is just a bonus."

Func KB-460 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review
     Mon, Dec 30 2013 | 10:02A | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
The bottom line is that the Func KB-460 is a very good looking keyboard aesthetically and has enough features to make it flexible. At $119.95 the price is pretty high, but not out of reason. The KB-460 feels extremely well made. Almost like it could get in a fight with a cinder block and walk away. I find it hard to believe that this is the first keyboard ever from Func, simply because of the quality and ease of use. But, it is the very first for the company, and it delivers a solid performance worthy of its price range and competition."

Func KB-460 Gaming Keyboard
     Sun, Dec 29 2013 | 10:02A | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
While we don`t generally review keyboards and other gaming peripherals at Phoronix, occasionally such a product will come along that is worth checking out in close detail. One of these products is the Func KB-460, a new high-end gaming keyboard. The Func KB-460 looks great, but will it work on Linux and be worth the nearly $120 USD price tag?"

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings 2-Years Later Review
     Sat, Dec 28 2013 | 8:59A | Games | PermaLink
Posted by: STAFF
Is The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings a game to remember, or one best left forgotten? In my opinion, this is one memory you want to remember. The graphics, story, and gameplay are of high quality and I cannot think of another game that outmatches this excellent combination. Indeed it leaves me in an awkward position as the only thing preventing me from saying, The Witcher 2 is a great game, is that I cannot think of another game that borrows from this one to make itself better. If I had reviewed this game when The Witcher 2 was still a new release though, you can be certain I would laud it as a great game for its genre and potentially the game industry (Editor`s Note: Still is!). It has left me that impressed."
